This is a pretty sweet horn. The original lacquer is 97+% and is in very nice condition. Most of the lacquer wear is on the bottom of the bow where we gently buffed a social security number off. It turned out looking fantastic! Structurally the horn is in great shape too. There is 1 re-solder, a tiny foot loose on the F# guard, a small amount of denting on the bow and bell, a couple on the body and some pings on the crook. That's impressive for a Bari given how prone they are to being beat up! The neck is original and has a neck pickup installed. This is easily removable if you wish. The pads are very new and have lots of life left in them, and it has brass resonators. The horn plays, but the setup on it is not up to our personal standard. You can get it and play it as is, or you can be a more picky about setup and really make this thing play a good deal better! It's up to you. Either way, this kind of bari does not come along often and if you want a low Bb Bari in structurally great condition, then you can't go wrong with this one. Contact Simon for more info.
