These horns have an amazing sound! I absolutely love how round and big these altos are. This one is no exception and is a spectacular instrument. It was lovingly re-lacquered at some point in time, but it was well done. It was also overhauled not too long ago and the job is not bad. We'd recommend a few things to optimize it's playing ability, but it does play pretty well as is. Contact Randy for more info.
