I'm biased because I own a BA alto and Tenor, but there is just something special about the Balanced Action Selmers. It's the first "modern" version of a Saxophone, minus a few key features, and they play superb. This one was relacquered, really well, in what appears to be the 1980's. It wasn't buffed heavily at all and the engraving is still very clear. There is little/minor past damage/repair to the tube and the horn is structurally in fantastic condition. The neck is original to the horn and has never been pulled down or damaged. This horn really needs an overhaul to be performing at it's peak, but the new owner won't be disappointed.
